Purpose of the project
To strengthen grassroots women’s livelihood by enhancing their capacity to plan, coordinate and implement strategies with long term sustainable economic options. The project is helping to address the impact of climate change on the rural small holder women farmers. This project is being implemented at Kagolla village, South West Sakwa location, Bondo Sub County, Siaya County. The project is reviving cotton and legume farming as an alternative Agri-Business among rural women affected by unreliable rainfall in their farming practice as a result of climate change.
