1. Introduction
Welcome to Pendeza Weaving Project, an initiative of Pendeza Community Development Services. By placing an order on pendezaweaving.com, you agree to comply with the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.

2. Ordering and Payments

  • We offer Pay on Delivery (cash, M-Pesa, or credit card) within Nairobi only.
  • For orders outside Nairobi, full payment is required in advance.
  • Payments can be made via M-Pesa Paybill 522522, Account Number 1309375429.
  • Prices listed on the website are final and include applicable taxes but exclude delivery fees.

3. Delivery Options and Fees
Customers within Nairobi can choose from:

  • Personal drop-off to an agreed location.
  • Pickup from Kitale Lane, Kilimani at no extra cost.
  • Commercial courier delivery at a fee of KSh 400.

For customers outside Nairobi:

  • A KSh 400 delivery fee applies within Kenya.
  • A KSh 2,500 fee applies for international orders.
  • Deliveries outside Nairobi require full payment in advance.

4. Order Processing and Shipping

  • Orders are processed within 2-3 business days.
  • Courier delivery timelines depend on location and the chosen service provider.
  • Customers will receive tracking details for commercial courier deliveries.

5. Returns and Refunds

  • Due to the handmade nature of our fabrics, all sales are final, except in cases of damage during delivery.
  • If you receive a defective product, report it within 24 hours with photo evidence for review.
  • Refunds (if applicable) will be processed within 7 business days after approval.

6. Privacy and Security

  • We value your privacy and will not share your personal or payment details with third parties.
  • Online transactions are securely processed through trusted payment gateways.

7. Product Authenticity

Our fabrics are handwoven and unique, and slight variations in color or texture may occur. These are not defects but part of the craftsmanship.

8. Changes to Terms

Pendeza Weaving reserves the right to update these terms at any time. Continued use of our store implies acceptance of any changes.

Washing Instructions for Handmade Fabrics

To preserve the beauty and longevity of your handmade fabrics, please follow these washing instructions carefully:

    1. Hand Wash Only: Gently wash your fabric by hand in cold water using a mild detergent. Avoid using bleach or harsh chemicals.

    1. Do Not Wring: After washing, gently squeeze out excess water. Do not wring or twist the fabric, as this can cause damage.

    1. Dry Flat: Lay the fabric flat on a clean, dry towel and roll it up to absorb excess water. Unroll and lay the fabric flat on a dry towel or drying rack, away from direct sunlight, to air dry.

    1. Iron on Low Heat: If ironing is needed, use a low heat setting. Place a thin cloth or a pressing cloth between the iron and the fabric to prevent direct contact and avoid scorching.

    1. Avoid Machine Washing and Drying: Do not use a washing machine or dryer, as the agitation and heat can distort and damage the fabric.

    1. Store Properly: Store your handmade fabrics in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Avoid hanging them for extended periods to prevent stretching.

2. Select Your Preferred Item

🔹 Once you find an item you love, click on it to open the product page.
🔹 Choose your preferred color (if applicable) and quantity.
🔹 Most items are one-of-a-kind, making them truly special!

3. Add to Cart

🔹 Click “Add to Cart” to save your selection.
🔹 You can continue shopping and add multiple products to your cart.

4. Review Your Order

🔹 Click on “View Cart” to check your selected items.
🔹 Confirm your order details before proceeding.

5. Checkout & Payment

🔹 Click “Checkout” to enter your delivery details and select your payment method.
🔹 If you’re outside Nairobi, full payment is required in advance via M-Pesa Paybill 522522, Account 1309375429 (+ KSh 400 delivery fee).
🔹 If you’re within Nairobi, you can either pay in advance or choose Pay on Delivery (M-Pesa, credit card, or cash).

6. Place Your Order

🔹 Once payment is made (or Pay on Delivery is selected), click “Place Order” to confirm.
🔹 You will receive a confirmation message and delivery details.
